DIDN'T LIFT TO TRAP MUSIC?
If you're anything like me, about 95% of your workout playlist is trap music. From the warm up, to the cool down! It's something about the sound of heavy bass and hype lyrics that drive my intensity through the roof! Now, I will say I'm not a fan of ALL trap sounds (because you know some can be a bit..much)! But I do have my favorite beats, artists and songs that I keep on replay, to get me through my workout! Most would say artists like Future, Lil'Uzi Vert, Cardi B, 21 Savage, Travis Scott, Migos, Gucci Mane and 2Chainz, bring you some of the best trap music (just to name a few)! But the crazy thing about it is, it doesn't matter what type of music you like, the science behind listening to music while you workout is indeed REAL! An article that I came across a while back, really got me thinking about how music can alter the level of intensity in your workout. From the actual beat, to the lyrical content. When you get a chance, check out "Let's Get Physical: The Psychology of Effective Workout Music." This article explains how effective workout music can make you kick it into overdrive, and how beats per minute (bpm) and movement connect! But on another [trap] note, I've learned that with my workouts my body and energy just reacts better to the sound of trap music. It keeps my workouts alive from start to finish. And let's not talk about the random dance breaks you may run into, when your favorite part comes on! I listed a few of my go to tracks below, that some of you may be familiar with. Now, please be advised, trap music is not for everybody! Lol!

Everyone I know can never leave their headphones behind. And if they do, they have three options: *after you fuss for about 5 minutes* 1) Go back home or whereever to get them, 2) contemplate skipping this workout (yes, it can be that serious!
